Ryan Guzman goes preppy for his appearance on Extra on Monday afternoon (January 12) in Los Angeles.
The 27-year-old actor is busy promoting his movie The Boy Next Door and recently opened up about filming steamy scenes with co-star Jennifer Lopez.
“It was one of those moments where you think you’re prepared for it and you tell yourself “OK, I’m going to do this sex scene, I’m going to move past it and we’re gonna be fine,’” Ryan explained to Cambio. “You get there and you realize you’re naked, this is it and you’re bearing all to Jennifer Lopez and the other guys in the room � the camera guy, the boom operator and the director, and then you’re getting notes from the director as well.”
Ryan added, “So, any intimacy that you think might be in the scene isn’t there. It’s all choreographed and that’s our part as actors to develop that look of passion. We were so focused on making that scene so passionate, because without that scene, you have no movie. My character never would’ve done the things he did without having had that beautiful, life-changing, sensual, intimate, sexual experience like that.”

The 27-year-old actor attended the show with his Boy Next Door co-star, where she presented an award on stage.

Ryan recently opened up about his role in the film, where he seduces Jennifer’s character, “It was one of those moments where you think you’re prepared for it and you tell yourself ‘okay, I’m going to do this sex scene, I’m going to move past it and we’re gonna be fine.’ You get there and you realize you’re naked, this is it and you’re bearing all to Jennifer Lopez and the other guys in the room � the camera guy, the boom operator and the director, and then you’re getting notes from the director as well.”
He added, “The whole thing was awkward.”
JJJ is really sad about this split — Ryan Guzman and Melanie Iglesias have decided to call it quits just before the new year.
Ryan, 27, broke the news on Twitter, saying, “Since everyone will eventually find out anyway, unfortunately I’m single again…”
The week before, Ryan was quoted in Latina mag about his relationship with Melanie.
“We had been talking on Skype for three or four months while I was filming [Step Up] in Vancouver. That’s a long freaking time to be doing that Internet type deal. So, after three or four months of talking through the computer, we finally got to see each other face-to-face,” he had shared. “We felt like we had known each other our whole lives, which is kind of amazing. I never would have thought that would happen.”
