Samatha Droke catches some tunes at the 2009 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival held at the Empire Polo Club on Saturday afternoon (April 18) in Indio, Calif.
The 21-year-old actress stars as Brooke in the upcoming Princess Protection Program. In the TV movie, Princess Rosalina (Demi Lovato) is threatened by an evil dictator bent on taking control of her country. She is then whisked away and placed into the Princess Protection Program. Mason, an agent with the program, hides Princess Rosalina in his own home where, with the help of his daughter Carter (Selena Gomez), she adopts the cover of an ordinary teen named Rosie. The two form a close bond as Carter helps Rosie transform into a normal teenager and Rosie shows Carter how to find the princess within herself.
Princess Protection Program premieres on Disney Channel in June.
Princess Protection Program‘s Samantha Droke tries to control her hair against the wind as she arrives at the 17 Again premiere held at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood on Tuesday (April 14).
The 21-year-old actress looked stunning in a lace black skirt, bold purple top and black peep toe heels. Samantha shared with JJJ of her red carpet look, “Purple’s my favorite color, so I thought I’d wear purple tonight.”
Samantha also shared her pride for good friend and 17 Again leading man, Zac Efron, saying, “I grew up with him and Ashley Tisdale. I’ve known him for awhile. I’m proud of him.”

The 23-year-old singer will release her single, “It’s Alright, It’s OK,” on April 14th. Her new album, Guilty Pleasure, will drop in stores June 16th.
Ashley said of her new album, “On this album, I put to rest a lot of baggage from a previous relationship by venting about the frustration. Everyone can relate to those moments. That song is about how you need to stand up for yourself and not let someone walk all over you; it’s a message I wanted to get across to other girls.”

Ashley Tisdale grabs breakfast with Princess Protection Program pal Samantha Droke and two gal pals at Paty’s restaurant on Sunday (March 15) in Toluca Lake, Calif.
The four girls, including Caroline Clark, left through the back door. Ashley wore Ray Ban sunglasses and toted around her fave Fendi “Spy” bag. She also sported brown gladiator sandals and a pair of white, deconstructed jeans.

Samantha Droke shows off her darker locks at the premiere of Race To Witch Mountain at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on Wednesday evening (March 11).
The 21-year-old actress caught up with Tiger Beat mag and had a very special shout-out for her Princess Protection Program co-star pal Selena Gomez.
Sam shared, “I just want to say hi Selena. I miss you so much. Hopefully, I can come out and visit you [in Puerto Rico] but if not, I will see you when you get back. Hope you have a good time!”
