Riverdale actor Skeet Ulrich, who plays Jughead’s dad on the show, gave some insight into his on-screen son’s new rumored relationship in a new interview.
“I know they spend time together because they’re at work all the time together,” Skeet told Entertainment Tonight of Cole Sprouse and Lili Reinhart. “But, I’m not surprised. They have great chemistry and they’ve been at our house with a lot of the Riverdale people and they always enjoy each other’s company. So I wish them the best.”
When pressed, he agreed that the two probably have a “special relationship” off-screen.
“It seems like it, yeah,” he said. “You just hear them talking to each other like they’ve been best friends for 20 years. So it’s a good sign.”
Aww! It doesn’t sound like Skeet has all of the information either, but his testimony does confirm what we already knew: that Lili and Cole definitely share a special bond.
