Shawn Mendes doesn’t have a lot of tattoos — two in total actually.
However, one of them, you might have seen, but probably not.
Turns out that Shawn debuted this secret tattoo in his “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” music video and most of us didn’t even notice!
Speaking with Teen Vogue, Shawn opened up about the new ink.
“I got it when I was in Oslo on tour,” he dished. “I really wanted something to remember this time of my life.”
He adds about its’ design: “It’s a lightbulb that has roots and a colored flower inside.”
And if you didn’t know, Shawn‘s first tattoo actually inspired the packaging for his new fragrance.
“It was something I had been thinking about for over a year before I got it – because I really wanted to make sure my first tattoo was something I’d be happy with forever,” he says. “It was really exciting getting it, actually, because I had thought about it for so long.”

Paris ditched her shirt to flaunt her new tattoo starts off on her sternum and goes all the way down to her belly button.
Earlier this summer Paris got matching tattoos with her godfather Macaulay Culkin.

You might not even notice them, but Lili Reinhart has four tattoos and each of them have deep meanings behind the ink.
Speaking with People earlier this week, the Riverdale starlet opened up about the one that means the most — an arrow on her left forearm.
“I talk a lot about depression and anxiety and my own struggles with it, so I wanted to get it,” Lili shares about the ink.
“An arrow can only go forward by being pulled back, so when you’re going through a hard time, being pulled back, it only means you’re about to experience something bigger and greater. So that’s what that represents to me.”
Lili also has a rose on her right arm, as well as an image of Earth for her Zodiac sign and a cross on her finger.
The latter, you might have peeped that on Riverdale!
She told Refinery29, “We kind of gave up covering my [cross] finger tattoo. We literally don’t cover it anymore. So if you look, you will see [it]. It’s like an Easter egg.”
Paris Jackson has got a brand new tattoo!
The 19-year-old Yoga Hosers actress and model went to a Hollywood tattoo shop on Saturday (July 29) with her godfather Macaulay Culkin.
The two longtime pals got matching spoon tattoos on their forearms. Check them out in the gallery below!
Paris and Macaulay have a long history, as he was close friends with her late father Michael Jackson.
Earlier in the week, Macaulay had a dinner date with his new co-star Brenda Song and their director Seth Green. The pair will star in Changeland, which is about two estranged friends on a trip to Thailand who realize there’s no rule book for finding purpose and meaning in life.

The Life Sentence actress recently chatted with Refinery29 about all her ink she has, courtesy of tattoo artist to the stars, Dr. Woo.
“My first tattoo I ever got was a bow from Dr. Woo, before he was Dr. Woo,” Lucy jokes.
She adds, “My most recent tattoo was from Dr. Woo, there’s still makeup on it [from filming this week], but it’s a lightbulb. The meaning of my name is light, so I actually have a light tattooed, too, that Dr. Woo did years ago.”
Another one that Lucy has is a tiny sun, a C.S. Lewis quote on her rib cage and a moon.
“I got with my sister in honor of our grandmother…I have a moon I got recently, no meaning, I just wanted it,” Lucy adds; and also “a bible quote.”
Her latest? “I have an eye that Dr. Woo just did. It’s the evil eye to ward off evil. I like tattoos.”
Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey has been into tattoos since he was “literally ten years old,” and it shows — he has over a dozen tattoos covering nearly an entire arm and a leg.
In a new video interview, Tyler walks through many of his tattoos, explaining the order in which he got them.

“I tried not to do too many on my arms because of acting,” the 25-year-old actor told Teen Vogue. pointing out his first-ever tattoo, “the first note of a Blink-182 song,” on his upper arm.
His most painful tattoo is the one on the back of his calf because it is entirely shaded in, but he’s a big fan.
As for acting?
“They have to cover them on my show which takes quite a bit of time,” he admitted, “Sometimes I have to shave my arms.”
Still, he wouldn’t trade his body-art for the world.

Louis Tomlinson took to Instagram yesterday to tease a new photoshoot — but fans could not help but be preoccupied by one tiny little detail.
Namely, the 25-year-old “Back to You” singer now has an “E” tattooed onto his hand, prominently displayed between his thumb and forefinger.

Most people are assuming that the new ink is in honor of Eleanor Calder, his girlfriend who he rekindled his relationship with after a year apart.
