Alexandra Chando and Charisma Carpenter share a mother-daughter moment in this new still from The Lying Game.
In the winter premiere “The Revengers,” Alec (Adrian Pasdar) is in jail following his arrest for Derek’s murder, but he still manages to unnerve Emma (Chando), who is desperate for answers.
Rebecca (Carpenter) and Sutton’s (also Chando) mother-daughter bonding consists of formulating their plans for the Mercer family, which contradicts Emma and Laurel’s (Allie Gonino) plan to reunite Ted (Andy Buckley) and Kristin (Helen Slater).
Meanwhile, Mads (Alice Greczyn) goes looking for trouble, and meets a mysterious new guy in town.

Can you believe there are only two more months until The Lying Game comes back to ABC Family?
JJJ is super anxious for the return and looking forward to this season’s tricks and secrets — especially those revolving Ethan (Blair Redford) and Emma (Alexandra Chando).
Blair recently chatted about the relationship between the former lovers, saying, “Ethan has always had temper issues and he bottles up a lot of his emotions so he’s definitely not going to be too happy seeing Emma with any other guy. He’ll probably always � whether he says it or not � want to punch the guy in the face that’s with Emma.”
“Just your regular going down the wrong path a high schooler can take�drinking a bit, being out too late,” he added about what Ethan will do to get over Emma. “Basically, things a guy might do to get over a girl that he was in love with.”

You may be seeing new episodes by January 2013, (via Alloy reports. Although ABC Family (via TVLine) is saying differently.
Along with a release date, Alloy has also shared the first six episode titles: “The Revengers,” “Cheat, Play, Love,” “Advantage Sutton,” “A Kiss Before Lying,” “Much Ado About Everything,” and “Catch Her in the Lie.”
The Lying Game follows identical twin sisters (both played by Alexandra Chando) who meet as teenagers and try to unravel a deepening mystery about their past.

ABC Family’s The Lying Game is coming back for a second season, and JJJ can not wait!
Alexandra Chando, Alice Greczyn, Allie Gonino and Blair Redford will all be heading back to Austin, Texas, to film the second season in preparation for a winter premiere.
In the spring finale, we saw Rebecca and Alec get married, Kristin finds out about Ted and Rebecca’s affair, Ethan tries to clear his name and the police find the weapon that was used to kill Derek in Alec’s golf bag. But even with his name cleared, Emma tells Ethan that they are through.
After all of that, we see that Rebecca and Sutton were scheming together from the beginning!

Meanwhile, Ethan (Blair Redford) makes a discovery that changes the game and a shocking revelation leads to major repercussions in the Mercer household.
