Team Purple went up against Team Green — Nolan Gould, Ty Simpkins, James Marsden and his daughter Mary – for the fun event which debuted the new game.
Both teams were neck-in-neck throughout the obstacle course, but the Team Green took home the gold when they won the onstage gameplay.
About A Boy‘s Benjamin Stockham got his own team together and won the second race which included Nintendo representatives and some very lucky consumers.
Willow Shields waves hello to the cameras before meeting with Mark Ballas at the dance studio in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon (May 13).
Recently, the 14-year-old actress wrote her final blog about being on Dancing With The Stars.
“It’s about the journey. Already I have had time to reflect on my experience on Dancing with the Stars,” Willow wrote.
She continued, “Ironically the show just released a video of Mark and I and our journey. Yes I couldn’t help but cry when watching the time Mark and I met for the first time and the many dances that we created and the hours spent training (mixed with goofing around of course). I think I cried while watching this video not because I didn’t win but because of how much I now value the challenging journey in which I became lifelong friends with people like Mark and realized that anyone can do almost anything if they put their mind to it.”

She improved so rapidly and is one of the hardest working people I know, never complained, never second guessed and gave 1000% to every dance we performed together, applying herself fully to every character and detail,” Mark shared about his partner on Instagram. “She has the heart of a champion and is such an excellent role model to young boys and girls that want to put themselves out there and try something new.. Thanks to Willow’s dedication and open mind it allowed me to have one of my most creative seasons yet and for that I can’t thank her enough. We may not have won the mirror ball, but the dances/art will live forever.”
Willow added, sending a big shout out to Mark, “What an amazing indescribable journey this has been…thank you to the most inspiring person @markballas for everything you taught me in these 7 weeks. Your creativity and excitement blew my mind every week. I started this show with no dance experience and now because of you I truly feel like I’ve become a dancer.”
“Every morning that I stepped into that dance studio with you I was excited..and the reason was because you inspired me ever second with the passion that you conveyed. I will always remember dancing as Alice alongside the most amazing rabbit, making a painting come to life in our Argentine Tango, dancing an emotional contemporary as a tribute to my Hunger Games fans, and WHO could forget us being the coolest Ninja team ever!! Thank you for joining me in telling a story every week in our performances. I will miss dancing with you more than anything…. I love you,” she added.
