Milo Manheim Can Only Rehearse Four Hours A Day For 'DWTS'

Milo Manheim meets up with partner Witney Carson at the dance studio for rehearsals on Thursday afternoon (September 27).

The duo will be performing two dances this coming week on Dancing With The Stars.

Did you know that Milo can only rehearse for four hours a day? While other teams are practicing for more than that, Milo can only do four hours per day because he’s actually still in high school.

“He’s technically a minor. He can only rehearse for four hours,” Witney shared in an interview. “He’s in school for the first half of the day, and then I get him for rehearsal the second half of the day.”

However, that’s not stopping him from doing his best.

“Milo’s attentive and observant. He’s willing to work super hard. He wants to do really, really well,” she adds. “I can see each day that he’s progressing. We are having such a great time. We are having a blast.”

Milo Manheim Thought Having A Little Bit of Dance Experience Would Help Him With DWTS

Milo Manheim Thought Having A Little Bit of Dance Experience Would Help Him With DWTS

Milo Manheim is learning just how tough it is training for Dancing With the Stars with partner Witney Carson.

During their solo appearance on GMA on Tuesday (September 11), the Zombies star revealed that it was much tougher than he realized.

“When I first walked in I thought having a little bit of dance experience would help me,” Milo shared. “I have a little bit of rhythm but once we started getting going, it was nothing like I ever imagined … it’s so much more difficult than I thought it would be.”

He adds, “I’ll feel like I’m doing a good job and look back at the video and I just look terrible.”

However, Witney has faith in him to pick up the choreography quick.

“I feel like Milo has a lot of potential and I’m really excited,” she says. “He’s got the personality, he’s got some rhythm so that’s all we really need.”

Milo also shared what it was like having Witney, who won the mirrored ball in season 19, as a partner.

“She looks like she’s so much fun — like we’re having a blast the whole time. She is tough,” he admits. “If I mess up, she will make sure I never mess up ever again.”

Dancing With the Stars premieres Monday, September 24th on ABC.

Milo and Witney are also pictured below with Alexis Ren with Alan Bersten, Bobby Bones with Sharna Burgess, Danelle Umstead with Artem Chigvintsev, DeMarcus Ware with Lindsay Arnold, Evanna Lynch with Keo Motsepe, Joe “Grocery Store Joe” Amabile with Jenna Johnson, John Schneider with Emma Slater, Juan Pablo Di Pace with Cheryl Burke, Mary Lou Retton with Sasha Farber, Nancy McKeon with Val Chmerkovskiy, Nikki Glaser with Gleb Savchenko, and Tinashe with Brandon Armstrong, on Good Morning America on Wednesday (September 12).
