'13 Reasons Why' Showrunner Reveals New Plot Points for Season 2

13 Reasons Why is about to head into production for it’s second season and new information was just revealed.

We know that Hannah will still be part of the show, and that Alex did indeed attempt suicide, Jessica will start to deal with her rape, and maybe, just maybe Bryce will be tried for his crimes.

“Hannah told her version of events, but there are at least 12 kids who have another version of those events that we actually haven’t really heard from yet,” showrunner Brian Yorkey shared during the FYC event.

He adds, “I don’t think Hannah told any untruths on her tape. She reclaimed her narrative, which had really been taken from her.”

Dylan Minnette admits that the cast will go into this season just like they did the first.

“I just want us all to do the same as this year,” he says. “Just go in assuming that nobody is going to watch it, everyone’s going to hate it, and try to make the best thing possible.”
