'13 Reasons Why' Star Miles Heizer Reveals What Actually Happened To Alex

Many fans speculated that either one of two thing happened: 1) Tyler shot him, or 2) he was committing suicide.

Star Miles Heizer, who plays Alex, just answered the question for everyone — it was suicide.

“It was interesting to see similarities between Alex and Hannah, because there are a lot of warning signs throughout the season,” Miles shared with THR.

But, don’t count out seeing Alex in a possible season two.

“That’s another subject that’s very rarely shown on-screen and is probably a lot more common than people think it is,” he adds, pointing out that Alex might have not been successful. “People attempting to take their lives and it not happening, I’m sure that will bring a crazy set of issues. It would be interesting to go into that.”
