Emojis are pretty much a full blown language now — but there was always something missing from it — the redheaded emoji.
We’ve seen countless complaints about the lack of a redheaded emoji and the world definitely needs one. In fact a little campaign was started earlier this year after the latest update on our phones.
And they listened!
In a new press release, the redhead emoji is set to debut in June 2018. Still, it’s a bit of a wait, but still worth it, yes? Yes.
“This changes everything,” Calum Worthy wrote on Twitter after the announcement.
Calum Worthy is about to send all his childhood best friends on a wild goose chase in The Boonies.
JJJ has your exclusive first look at the new series, which will debut on Monday, July 31st on go90, with new episodes on Mondays and Wednesdays.
On the eve of graduation in Boone, Texas, five very different seniors once childhood best friends are united by a dead classmate’s cryptic video which forces them to embark on a twisted and thrilling treasure hunt inside the haunted halls of Boone High School.
The Boonies is written and directed by Brad T. Gottfred, executive produced by Jason Berger and Amy Laslett for Kids at Play; and Justin Killion for Complex Networks.
Calum Worthy is all smiles on the red carpet for the premiere of An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth To Power in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (July 25).
The actor and comedian joined his The Thinning co-star Peyton List at the screening which centers on Former Vice President Al Gore who continues his tireless fight, traveling around the world to train an army of activists and influence international climate policy.
This is a movement and initiative that Calum has been involved with for a while.
Anyone else just insanely stoked about Calum Worthy‘s new gig in Freeform’s New Warriors?! So are we!
After we heard the big news, we couldn’t help but remember one time that we talked with Calum, and he picked out his own, perfectly perfect superhero name.
This was before Austin & Ally went off the air and when Katy Perry‘s “Firework” was huge, and we asked Calum about his superhero name, and powers — and he didn’t hesitate one bit!
“The firecracker,” he told us confidently. “Wait, let’s change it to Firework and my powers would be that all I could do was sing Katy Perry’s song.”
If that isn’t the most Calum Worthy-ist answer ever!
ICYMI: Calum will be playing Robbie Baldwin, aka Speedball, in the new series.
Robbie is an impulsive people-pleaser with a misplaced sense of confidence who throws kinetic balls of energy that are completely out of control.
If you’re a Calum Worthy super fan, like JJJ, you’ve seen his super-secretive set Instagram photo.
“I’m all profesh on my NEW show! Details to come next week,” the comedic actor captioned the shot — and when he didn’t release any details, we were totally bummed.
BUT, JJJ did our own research and found out EVERYTHING!
The show, which will be on go90, is called Liberty Crossing and will also star Shelley Hennig and Ashley Argota.
The comedy series will follow “a hapless young intelligence analyst at the National Counterterrorism Center who must untangle a terror plot while navigating the office’s petty backstabbing and bureaucracy – while also tolerating his meddling family.”
Liberty Crossing is expected to debut on go90 later this year.
Vanessa and Laura Marano are lending out a helping hand for Camp Anuenue’s Stream-A-Thon next week!
The two sisters will lend their star power to Britt Robertson and B.K. Cannon, who are trying to save Camp Anuenue, a Hawaiian based camp for children who have or have had cancer.
At this camp, the kids get to leave the hospital behind for once and focus on what’s really important: just being kids. However, due to lack of donations this might be the first year (since the start in 1985) that the camp will not operate.
This is why they need the help!
B.K. (who starred with Vanessa in Switched at Birth) is a childhood cancer survivor and former camper and actually took over as CEO in 2017 with the goal of saving the camp.
The proceeds from the Stream-a-thon will go to ensuring that Camp Anuenue stays open this year for these kids.
