The 22-year-old Jessie starlet is taking a step behind the camera and going to executive produce the digital movie Jessica Darling’s It List with MarVista Entertainment Group, which previously worked on two movies with Debby and Disney Channel (2012′s Radio Rebel, 2010′s 16 Wishes).
According to TheWrap, “It List stars actress/model Chloe East as Jessica Darling, a smart, witty, opinionated girl heading into the 7th grade. But before she does, her popular sister Bethany (Blair Fowler) gives her the ‘It List,’ a cheat sheet on how to navigate middle school.”
The movie is based on the book, “Jessica Darling’s It List: the (Totally Not) Guaranteed Guide to Popularity, Prettiness and Perfection,” written by Megan McCafferty.
“The film was shot last summer,” Meganwrote. “I love the cast (especially Chloe East as Jessica Darling–she is IMPERFECT PERFECTION) and everyone on the Mar Vista Entertainment production crew.”

The 22-year-old actress recently opened up to Peopleabout her past dating abuse and confessed that instead of support, she got backlash from it.
“My first love texted me. I had been wanting to get a text from this person for a year saying that he wanted us to be okay and be friends, and the one that I get from them is, ‘How dare you speak about this abusive relationship? Because you know that people are going to think it’s about me,’” she shared.
Debby continued, “It automatically took me aback, like, Maybe I’m doing the wrong thing by being open and for sharing – and how dare I be so selfish? Then I realized that there’s good and bad to anything that you do, [so I have] no regrets.”
