Earlier this week, the 24-year-old actress opened up about her mom, Krista‘s cancer at the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation’s 6th Annual Peace, Love and a Cure event.

“I was oddly stoic, the opposite of how I usually am,” she shared while speaking at the event. “But it was terrifying.”

Just the night before, Andrew joined Emma and her mom Krista at the 2013 Peace, Love & A Cure Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation Benefit.

The Peace, Love & A Cure Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation aims to be a “credible source for triple negative breast cancer information, a catalyst for science and patient advocacy groups, and a caring community with meaningful services for patients and their families.”

“I wasn’t into the fashion world. I just tried to dress like I was in different parts of the ‘60s, throughout my teenage years,” Emma recently shared with Marie Claire Australia.
She added, “There was about a year where I dressed like I was in 1968 – bohemian. I burned a lot of incense. I had a poster of John Lennon in my room. And then it went into a little bit more Mod ‘60s and I was wearing a lot of black and white.”

The 24-year-old actress, in Michael Kors and Christian Louboutin heels, hosted the event which honored accomplished women in recognition of the women of Gilda’s Club NYC.
Gilda’s Club offers a place where men, women and children living with cancer – and their families and friends – can join together to build social and emotional support as a supplement to medical care.

The Amazing Spider-Man couple enjoyed their stroll around the city before Andrew, 29, headed off to the sequel’s set to film more scenes with Paul Giamatti.
In case you missed the news, Emma is in talks to star in Woody Allen‘s next pic, alongside Colin Firth.
According to Deadline, the film will shoot in the south of France.

“I have learned the importance of moisturizing. I have the driest skin on the planet,” the 24-year-old actress recently shared. “I use a Burt’s Bees cleanser and exfoliate with baking soda or brown sugar. I love coconut oil and olive oil, too. My skin doesn’t produce oil, so I have to replace it somehow.”
