Emma Watson looks gorgeous in a black gown while on the red carpet at Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards on Monday (October 31) at Claridges Hotel in London, England.
The 26-year-old actress, who received the Inspiration of the Year award, was also joined on the carpet by Ella Purnell.
Emma‘s award was presented to her by Harry Potter producer David Heyman, who commended her for having “modesty and the bravery to ask the difficult questions and demand better.”
During her acceptance speech, Emma took the chance to dedicate the award to “the women that pick each other up.”

Emma Watson has a lot to say when it comes to the U.S. presidential election.
The 26-year-old English actress, who also serves as the UN Women’s Global Goodwill Ambassador, took to Twitter to air her thoughts.
“America is my second home,” Emma wrote. “I have friends there that I think of as family. It has been excruciating to sit on the sidelines in the months leading up to this election. Goodness, I wish I could cast a vote.”
She quoted political scientist Valerie Hudson, “We know one of the most reliable indicators of peace and prosperity, nationally and globally, is not a country’s level of wealth, democracy, or ethno-religious identity; but how well its women and girls are treated.”
Emma ended her note with, “You have real power to decide the future of generations to come.”

Emma Watson is all smiles while heading inside to attend the HeForShe Second Anniversary Reception on Tuesday night (September 20) at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
The 26-year-old actress took to the stage to talk to the crowd about the organization’s past two years of work.
“Tonight, as well as saying thank you for all that you have done so far, I ask you to recommit yourself to be part of the movement for Gender Equality,” she asked of the audience.
Emma later added, “I feel that we are closer to a gender equal world than we were two years ago…and I know each and every HeForShe had played a role in that.”

Emma Watson is playing the role of Belle in the live action version of Beauty and the Beast and she now has the approval of the animated version’s Belle!
“I thought it was genius casting!” Paige told People. “I don’t think you could pick anyone more right for Belle that’s out there that’s the right age. She’s beautiful, she’s got the intelligence, she’s extremely smart. I think she’s going to be wonderful. I really do!”
Paige also revealed what she thinks of Dan Stevens playing the Beast!
“I fell in love with him on Downton Abbey,” she said. “I was so angry and upset for three days after he got killed off that series � I almost boycotted it I was so angry!”

The 26-year-old actress was on hand to help the organization share their IMPACT 10x10x10 University Parity Report and celebrate their second anniversary.
In the new report, 10 leading global universities laid out solid commitments and began to chart their progress toward achieving gender parity.

Also starring Dan Stevens as The Beast, the film follows Belle, a bright, beautiful and independent young woman who is taken prisoner by a beast in his castle.
Despite her fears, she befriends the castle’s enchanted staff and learns to look beyond the Beast’s hideous exterior and realize the kind heart and soul of the true Prince within.
