“We shot the video the morning after the premiere,” Chrissie, 31, dished to People about the video. “I was a zombie, but once James played the song for me, I had this newfound energy and was so ready to rock it.”
James added about working with Chrissie, “”She is an incredibly kind and talented girl, and putting together this cover was nothing but fun. She has an amazing voice, which made it easy and fun to create a track, make the song our own, imagine a story line and then shoot our own music video.”
“Flashlight” is featured on the soundtrack to Chrissie‘s new flick, Pitch Perfect 2, out in theaters NOW!

The Awkward. actor got silly alongside actress Donna Feldman, James Maslow and Nathan Kress who all spoke to press about the upcoming race for the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach this coming weekend.

In If There Be Thorns, Christopher (Lewis) and Cathy Dollanganger (Rachael Carpani) as they live together as man and wife with Cathy’s two sons who are unaware of the incestuous nature of their parents’ relationship. But when a mysterious woman moves in next door and befriends the younger boy, Bart (Mason Cook), he begins a strange transformation and displays accusatory behavior towards Cathy and Christopher. When Christopher discovers their mysterious neighbor is, in fact, his mother Corinne Dollanganger, all of the family’s long-hidden secrets are revealed in a tragic climax.
