Brice Gonzalez poses with his co-star Pepe Serna at a special screening of their new movie Flamin’ Hot held at Hollywood Post 43 on Friday evening (June 9) in Los Angeles.
The young actor and TikTok star wore a necklace with the EnkyBoys logo, which is what him and his dad, Randy, called themselves, and is their TikTok handle. Unfortunately, Randy passed away earlier this year after a battle with cancer.
The next day, June 10th, is Brice‘s birthday – Happy Birthday!!
Also at the premiere was director Eva Longoria, Becky G and Diane Warren, who sang and wrote the song “The Fire Inside” for the film, author Richard Montañez, who wrote the book the movie is based off of, and stars Jessie Garcia, Annie Gonzalez, Emilio Rivera, Dennis Haysbert, Bobby Soto, Hunter Jones, Carlos S Sanchez, Jimmy Gonzalez, Carlos Solorzano, Mario Ponce and Fabian Alomar, as well as Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger.
If you didn’t know, Disney owns Searchlight Pictures, who produced Flamin’ Hot. The movie also just premiered on Disney+ and Hulu the same day as the screening!
The new film tells the inspiring true story of Richard Montañez (Jesse Garcia), the Frito Lay janitor who channeled his Mexican American heritage and upbringing to turn the iconic Flamin’ Hot Cheetos into a snack that disrupted the food industry and became a global pop culture phenomenon.
