It’s been 10 months since Jamie Lynn Spears‘ daughter Maddie was involved in a serious ATV accident.
The 26-year-old singer shared a photo on Instagram to reflect as part of her 12 Days of Jamie Lynn Spears where she shares 12 milestones from her life leading up to Christmas.
“The hardest milestone me and my family have ever faced was almost losing our beautiful Maddie, but thanks to God and the two angels in this picture we were able to celebrate Maddie turning 9 years old all together. This milestone became a true miracle, and we are forever grateful for that. #12DaysOfJLS,” she captioned the photo.
Maddie was riding an ATV when she tried to steer to avoid driving over a draining ditch and over corrected causing the ATV to enter the pond. She wound up in the hospital in critical condition, but is out now and doing better.
The singers dressed up in some of Britney Spears‘ most iconic music video outfits and performed a medley of some of the pop star’s biggest hits – “Oops�I Did It Again,” “‘Til The World Ends,” “�Baby One More Time,” and “Circus” – on Saturday (April 29) at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
They were also joined by Jamie Lynn Spears in presenting Britney with the first-ever Icon Award, which recognizes “an artist whose music has been loved and adored by generations of Radio Disney fans,” Radio Disney Network’s general manager Phil Guerini announced.

Our thoughts are with Jamie Lynn Spears and her daughter Maddie, 8, right now.
The 25-year-old former Zoey 101 star’s little one was seriously injured in an ATV accident over the weekend.
Maddie‘s condition is currently unknown, but some reports say that she was underwater for several minutes after the ATV flipped.
“The details the media are reporting surrounding the incident regarding Jamie Lynn‘s daughter Maddie are incorrect,” a family rep told JustJaredJr.com in a statement. “Right now the Spears family asks that everyone respect their privacy during this time and appreciates all the prayers and support for their family.”
Regardless of what happened, we are sending our thoughts and love to Jamie and Maddie.
Morgan is there to support Kelsea, as she’s nominated for Female Artist of the Year and New Artist of the Year. Can’t wait to see if she wins!
