Check out a first listen of Jason Derulo‘s highly anticipated fourth album Everything Is 4!
“The album is the story of my life told so vividly that I feel that everyone can see themselves in these stories. It signifies maturation, growth and evolution,” the 25-year-old singer shared to People about the album, which drops on June 2.
Jason Derulo goes shirtless while lounging by the pool on the cover of Billboard magazine’s latest issue, out on newsstands on May 25!
Here’s what the 25-year-old singer had to share with the mag:
On life after ex-girlfriend Jordin Sparks: “I do get tired of playing nice. Especially when people think I did something wrong, or that she broke up with me. But it’s so behind me.”
On his new album: “You can’t pull me out of the studio. Songwriting is a muscle. The more you do it, the better you get at it.”
On his childhood: “My mom says I was an introvert. I never saw myself that way, but I was always focused. I didn’t spend a lot of time doing things that I didn’t think would make me great. I studied all kinds of dance, all types of music. I got good grades. I started hitting the recording studio around 13.”
Jason Derulo is speaking out after a viral photo allegedly showed him fall down the stairs at the 2015 Met Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 4) in New York City.
It is impossible that the 25-year-old singer fell down the stairs because he wasn’t even at the event that night!
The photo is really from the 2011 Cannes Film Festival when a prankster took a plunge down the stairs. Jason wrote on his Instagram account that he was actually at rehearsal on Monday night and not the star-studded gala.
