Jessie Paege is opening up about why she has only been posting old photos of herself.
The 20-year-old YouTuber and social media star took to her Instagram to explain that over the past few months she has been working to recover from her disordered eating and isn’t quite comfortable sharing her progress.
“I haven’t been posting any recent photos of myself because the past few months, I’ve been working on GENUINELY recovering from my disordered eating 100%. I’m at the ‘healthiest’ weight I’ve been at in my whole entire life and every day is a struggle,” Jessie wrote.
She continued, “I genuinely have issues looking in the mirror and believing I’m beautiful on a lot of my days, but overall…I’m feeling very proud of myself. Every day, seeing my body becomes easier and easier and I love myself more and more regardless of what I look like. I’ve been working on loving myself regardless of what anyone thinks online and hiding my body from the internet for a short period of time has been SO BENEFICIAL!! Take care of yourselves, xx”
We think Jessie is beautiful no matter what and hope that she continues to make progress on her wellness journey!
Jessie took to her Instagram to express her thoughts about taking the next step.
“I was in a car accident when I was in 3rd grade and ever since then I’ve been terrified to learn to drive. I’m currently 20 and don’t have a license…However, I’ve decided I want to get my license this year. I’m pretty scared, but super excited. So, enjoy some photos of me with a car that’s not mine feeling hot or whatever,” Jessie wrote.
We think it’s awesome that Jessie is working to overcome a fear!
The couple revealed they were dating last week, each sharing photos of each other on their own Instagram accounts.
Jessie also shared more photos while celebrating National Girlfriends Day on Thursday (August 1).

Jessie Paege just launched a new collection of shirts with Hot Topic!
This is the 20-year-old YouTuber’s second collection with the brand, but now she is one of the first ten creators to be part of the Hot Topic Creators program.

The 20-year-old YouTube star answered a wide range of fan questions from her thoughts on other YouTubers’ coming out videos to real talk about the health of her frequently-dyed hair in a video posted Saturday (July 6).
For the video, titled “Answering Questions Most Youtubers IGNORE,” Jessie recruited a trio of adorable puppies as co-stars, in a nod to BuzzFeed’s famous Celebrities Playing With Puppies series.
“I’ve answered questions about bisexuality I’ve avoided and more and decided to answer questions I’ve seen other you tubers avoid!” Jessie wrote in the video’s description. “I did this is a similar format to reading assumptions about myself videos and talk about a lot of mental health related subjects. ENJOY!”

“For me it’s my height and I don’t know why. But now I kind of love it because I fit really well into men’s suits.”

Jessie Paege is doing her part to give back for Pride Month!
The 20-year-old YouTube star celebrated at the launch of her Let it Rain-bow Tarte Pride Palette on Saturday (June 22) in Los Angeles, California.
In June 2018, Jessie came out as bisexual in a video on her popular YouTube channel.
“Whether you’re an ally, love rainbows, or just love expressing yourself, those shades and shade names will still speak to you, which is what I really love,” Jessie told Refinery29 of her Tarte collection.
Not only does Jessie’s palette celebrate Pride Month, but Tarte Cosmetics is also supporting the LGBTQ+ community by donating $25,000 to The Trevor Project, regardless how the palette sells.
