Kendall Schmidt Reveals What It Really Takes To Be In a Successful Boy Band

Kendall Schmidt Reveals What It Really Takes To Be In a Successful Boy Band

Kendall Schmidt knows a thing or two about being in a boy band — he was in one for five years.

Speaking with J-14 at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards last weekend, the former Big Time Rush singer revealed what it really takes to be in a boy band.

“A lot of push-ups,” he smartly replied, before adding that looking hot is half of it too. “You gotta look how, as you can tell.”

Kendall adds, getting serious about what makes or breaks a boy band: “No, for real. It’s longevity. Working together. Great music, and just having a good time. That’s the main key.”

“If it’s too stressful, it won’t work.”

Kendall also shared about how work ethic also plays into being in a boy band.

Kendall Schmidt Lures Fans in With 'Big Time Rush' Reunion To Promote New Heffron Drive Song

Kendall Schmidt had himself the best Big Time Rush reunion of all time.

The singer shared a new pic of him with his on-screen family, Challen Cates and Ciara Bravo, on Instagram, who came to support him with Heffron Drive‘s new single, “Mad at the World”, with bandmate Dustin Belt.

If you remember, the three actors starred as the Knight family on the Nickelodeon show. Challen was Jennifer Knight, the mom put in charge of the boys as they relocated to Los Angeles from Minnesota.

Ciara starred as Kendall‘s younger sister, Katie, who was definitely smarter than all the boys put together.

Be sure to check out Heffron Drive’s new song below!
