I’m impressed with where she is already at her age,” Kristen‘s costar Charlize Theron tells MTV. “I have so much respect for someone who can authentically be themselves. The first thing I noticed about her was that when she says she doesn’t give a f—, she means it. She’s not trying to be cool. She’s not trying to be edgy. She’s very, very authentic, and that’s what I like about her.”

The 22-year-old actress, joined by boyfriend Robert Pattinson on the carpet, wore head to toe Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière.

On The Road is “a beautiful and respectful adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s landmark novel that intermittently leaves the ground to take flight,” notes THR‘s review.

Kristen Stewart touches down at Nice Cote d’Azur Airport wearing head-to-toe black on Tuesday (May 22) in Cannes, France.

The 22-year-old actress is in town for the 2012 Cannes Film Festival, where she’ll be promoting her upcoming flick, On the Road.

Earlier in the week, Kristen and her Snow White and the Huntsman co-stars read some steamy passages allowed from the popular romance novel, “50 Shades of Grey” during an interview with MTV.

“I’m kind of dying to read it,” Kristen shared.

JJJ Fun Fact: The “Fifty Shades” trilogy is based on Kristen’s “Twilight” character, Bella Swan.
