Lana Condor Reveals the Sweet Thing Her Boyfriend Does For Her

Lana Condor Reveals the Sweet Thing Her Boyfriend Does For Her

Lana Condor looks stunning on the cover of Rollacoaster magazine, available October 19th.

The 21-year-old actress spilled on Noah Centineo, her boyfriend and being a hopeless romantic. Check it:

On her relationship with To All The Boys I’ve Love Before co-star Noah Centineo: “It’s so funny, I feel like I’m living every girl’s fantasy, because I have this beautiful relationship with Noah, he’s a great friend of mine in real life. I would say that we probably did our job right if people like us together. I mean, when I watched the film back, I wanted Peter and Lara Jean to be together! So I completely understand that. And then I have this beautiful relationship with my real-life boyfriend. I don’t know how I got so lucky!”

On being a hopeless romantic: “I was the girl in middle school who would write those lille letters, like ‘Do you like me? Do you not like me? Check yes or no!’ I am a hopeless romantic. I still write love letters now and so does my boyfriend. He even draws pictures on the front. I would say he’s more romantic than I am!”

On the reason To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before was a success: “I feel like the reason the movie did so well was because it was something that girls like me had never seen before. It brought girls that look different together and united them. And something that’s so special about Lara Jean is that she’s been written as a three-dimensional character, not based on stereotypes. I think Hollywood is going to try harder now.”

Lana Condor Looks Back On How Her Instagram 'Blew Up' After 'To All The Boys' Premiered

Much like Joey King and Noah Centineo, Lana Condor also saw a surge in her social media followers after the premiere of her Netflix film, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.

Talking with THR about the sudden surge in followers, the 21-year-old actress called it all “mind blowing”.

“I remember being so stoked when I reached 100,000 followers, and honestly thought that was the highest I’d go!” she shared. “So seeing this increase is truly wild.

Lana adds that she first noticed the numbers going up a few days after the premiere.

“The craziest time was a couple days after the premiere where it really started amping up. Every time I’d open my phone it seemed like I had 100,000 new followers, and that was just surreal for me.”

Lana also says that now with a higher follower count, there’s much more responsibility of being a positive role model now.

“I’ve always navigated Instagram pretty well, but now more than ever I feel a responsibility to create a positive community that supports one another, and spreads love and positivity,” she says. “I’ve really realized that now I have a voice, and people genuinely notice and care about what I say, support, post, et cetera. I want to set a good example and be very conscious of my actions.”
