Lana Condor Had A Very Memorable Fan Encounter In The Sauna

Lana Condor‘s life has definitely changed since the premiere of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before.

Case in point – she never would’ve had a fan encounter in the buff!

Lana spoke to Today Show about her excitement for the second movie, which she’s about to start filming in Vancouver, and also spoke about her memorable fan encounters.

“I was getting my nails done and I went up to go pay,” she recalled. “And the woman goes, ‘Are you Lara Jean?’ Like really quiet. And I go, ‘Yeah.’ And every single woman and man in the nail salon that worked there jumped up. Like, they were all, like, waiting. I was like, ‘I said that so quiet. How did they know?’ But they jumped up and it was so fun. So I’ve made quite a lot of new friends because of it.”

However, that’s not the most memorable. This one is:

“I went into the sauna the other day after working out. And I was like butt-naked, ’cause that’s what you do in the sauna. And I just forgot. And then like a bunch of girls ran in, and they were like, ‘Oh my God, we love you,’” Lana shared. “So little things like that — that’s like the major change.”

OMG!

Lana Condor Opens Up About Her Own Eating Disorder & Body Dysmorphia

If you follow Lana Condor on social media, you know that the 21-year-old actress loves to post about her food, and there’s a reason for that.

Chatting in her cover story with Elle Canada, the Alita: Battle Angel star revealed that she struggled with an eating disorder and body dysmorphia.

“I look at my friends, and I’m like, ‘You’re f***ing gorgeous.’ But they feel like they’re fat and ugly. I don’t know how this happened, that women feel like they need to apologize [for their physical imperfections],” she says.

Lana shared that she knows the pressures of what it means to look a certain way, and it’s what led to the eating disorder.

“You’re kind of the first person I’ve talked to about this,” she begins, “but I know what it’s like to have an eating disorder and body dysmorphia — and also what it’s like to be a friend to someone who has that. I think it’s time to give people comfort.”

Lana adds, “You have to eat. You have to stop thinking that a certain body shape is ideal, because it’s not. That’s why I literally post about every meal I eat.”
