Alexa Vega is all smiles as she accepts the Best Actress award at the 2012 Imagen Awards at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday night (August 10) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 23-year-old actress took home the award for her role as Gaby Rodriguez in Lifetime’s The Pregnancy Project.

“Imagen awards con mi hermana,” younger sister Makenzie tweeted en route to the show.

Earlier in the week, Alexa also attended the 2012 InStyle Summer Soiree held at The London Hotel on Wednesday (August 8) in West Hollywood, Calif.

Alexa Vega and sister Makenzie hit the red carpet at the John Carter premiere held at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live on Wednesday night (February 22) in Los Angeles.

Opening on March 9th, John Carter follows the title character, a Civil War veteran, as he’s transplanted to Mars and discovers a lush planet inhabited by 12-foot tall barbarians. Finding himself a prisoner of these creatures, he escapes, only to encounter a princess who is in desperate need of a savior.

Earlier in the day, Alexa, 23, made her press rounds to promote her new Lifetime movie, The Pregnancy Project.
