Alexa Vega and sister Makenzie hit the red carpet at the John Carter premiere held at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live on Wednesday night (February 22) in Los Angeles.

Opening on March 9th, John Carter follows the title character, a Civil War veteran, as he’s transplanted to Mars and discovers a lush planet inhabited by 12-foot tall barbarians. Finding himself a prisoner of these creatures, he escapes, only to encounter a princess who is in desperate need of a savior.

Alexa Vega and younger sister Makenzie step out at the NBC Entertainment & Cinema Society with Volvo premiere of Smash held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Thursday night (January 26) in New York City.

Earlier in the day, Alexa, 23, made her press rounds to promote her new Lifetime movie, The Pregnancy Project.

The story follows Gaby (Vega), an 18-year-old high school student who forces her school and community to confront its prejudices and preconceptions about teen pregnancy — and makes national headlines in the process.

The Pregnancy Project premieres TOMORROW @ 8PM ET/PT on Lifetime.
