The 49-year-old actress will be portraying the live action version of Sara Bellum in the pilot, Deadlinereveals.
She is described as “a warm and witty career woman who has a complicated romantic history with Drake. Always a friend to the Powerpuff Girls, she has remained close to them since childhood.”

Tom is keeping super busy as he’s also currently a part of almost 10 shows! He is lending his voice to multiple different characters, including of course his most iconic SpongeBob in three series, the original SpongeBob Squarepants, and it’s two new spinoffs – Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years and The Patrick Star Show.
We have the first set of photos from the Powerpuff pilot!
The potential new CW series stars Dove Cameron, Chloe Bennet and Yana Perrault in the title roles, and they were seen filming on Wednesday (April 7) in Atlanta, Ga.
That day marked their first day of filming the pilot, as director Maggie Kiley marked on Instagram.
She shared a photo of a chair with the logo, writing, “day 1! ❤️🌸🛁💚🎥 #powerpuffgirls #powerpuff”
The upcoming pilot will follow “the trio, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup, who used to be America’s pint-sized superheroes. Now they’re disillusioned twentysomethings who resent having lost their childhood to crimefighting. Will they agree to reunite now that the world needs them more than ever?”
“Reunited and it feels so good!!! Congrats @baileemadison on directing your first music video! #Reunion #Congrats #Friends,” David captioned the photo of the stars in 80s attire.
“Filming something totally RAD today! #80s,” Maria captioned another photo.
