Vanessa Hudgens brings gingham back in style in one of her new ads for Bongo‘s Spring 2015 campaign!
The 26-year-old actress is an ode to her closet and features her favorite styles from her own closet from glam – rock crop tops and pencil skirts to boho chic dresses and sweaters — and embodies Vanessa’s trademark style.
“It was so exciting to team up with Bongo to create the spring collection, inspired by my very own personal style,” Vanessa shared.
She added, “All the pieces are styles that I love to wear, like matching crop tops and pencil skirts, cute motorcycle jackets and asymmetrical skirts. What I love most about this collection is that it allows you to be whoever you want to be–which is me in a nutshell!”
Bongo is available at Kmart and Sears.
Vanessa is also pictured below leaving the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. after performing in Gigi on Tuesday night (January 27).
“Grease is one of the movies that made me want to be an entertainer, and I have literally been waiting my whole life to play Sandy,” Julianne shared in a statement. “My siblings and I watched it and played it out over and over when we were kids. This is my dream role and performing it live on television will be one of the most thrilling opportunities I’ve had in my career so far.”
Vanessa added, “Being Rizzo is something I’ve never imagined, and I love that because it will be a new challenge. She is such an iconic character that continues to transcend generations. I cannot wait to bring her to life on live television. I’m going to be a Pink Lady!”
Grease is expected to premiere @7PM ET/PT on Sunday, January 31, 2016.
The revival of the play will begin performances in March at the Neil Simon Theater, producers announced this week (via New York Times).
“Omg I can’t believe it!!!!!! It’s official, after DC I’m going to be making my Broadway debut with @gigionbroadway. Feeling so blessed, grateful and extremely excited!!!!!” Vanessa wrote on Instagtram just minutes after the news broke.
Gigi, based on the novel by Colette, is about a Parisian girl being trained as a courtesan.
The revival is will be shown at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts for a tryout run on Friday (January 16) in Washington, D.C., through February. 12th. Once on Broadway, the show will have an official opening night of April 8th.
Vanessa has been busy rehearsing for her upcoming Broadway musical Gigi, which will run first at the Eisenhower Theater at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. from January 16 to February 12.
