Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 is set to hit theaters on November 21st.
We are officially, well almost, 10 months out from the new Wreck-It Ralph movie, Ralph Breaks the Internet.
Disney has released a brand new image from the upcoming flick, which sees Ralph and Vanellope have a crazy adventure in a brave new world called the internet.
Here’s the official summary: Video game bad guy Ralph (John C. Reilly) and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (Sarah Silverman) must risk it all by leaving Litwak’s arcade and traveling to the world wide web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game, Sugar Rush.
In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internetthe netizensto help navigate their way, including a website entrepreneur named Yesss, who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site “Buzztube.”
Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 hits theaters on November 21st, 2018.
In the clip presented at the D23 expo, Ralph and Vanellope find themselves transported to the most magical place on the internet: OhMyDisney.com, where Vanellope decides to sneak into a dressing room full of Disney Princesses – to mess with them.
When the Princesses discover the tiny intruder, they prepare to attack. Mulan pulls out her sword, Merida grabs her bow, and Cinderella turns her glass slipper into a shiv. In order to save her skin, Vanellope tells the Princesses that she, too, is a Princess — which she is!
After the intrusion, the Princesses defend themselves even more, kicking aside all those princess tropes.
The Wreck-It Ralph sequel opens November 21st, 2018.
Ever since the new title for the Wreck-It-Ralph sequel was announced, one thing has been on JJJ‘s mind — will Stefanie Scott be returning?
If you don’t know, Stefanie voiced “Moppet Girl” in the original movie — the girl in the arcade, who discovers Ralph has game jumped and it almost threatens to put the game, Fix It Felix, Jr, out of order.
She’s also seen trying to get in on the Sugar Rush game before giving Hero’s Duty a try.
But when the announcement broke earlier this week, we didn’t see Moppet Girl, or Stefanie‘s name at all! We really hope she’s coming back somehow!
