Karen Gillan: Cat Sweater at BBC Studios

Karen Gillan wears a cute cat sweater as she arrives at BBC Radio 1 Studios in London on Friday afternoon (August 31).

The 24-year-old Scottish-born actress met up with some friends after promoting the new series premiere of Doctor Who, which is TONIGHT on BBC America.

Karen recently told The List that after her character Amy Pond bows off of the show, she won’t be coming back.

“I decided there’d be no cameo returns after I leave. I want the impact of the end of the Pond era to remain strong. I don’t want to spoil it by coming back a few episodes later to say hello,” she shared. “I feel like I’ve grown up and that I can now handle situations a bit better because I’m a more assertive person. I’m starting to feel more like the person that I want to be.”
