Gabby Douglas: iGlow in 'Pink Pearls & Pretty Dresses' Event

Gabrielle Douglas is pretty in a plaid Juicy Couture blazer as she speaks at the Pink Pearls & Pretty Dresses Mother/Daughter Empowerment Brunch held at the Donald E Stephens Convention Center in Chicago, Ill., on Sunday afternoon (October 14).

The 16-year-old Olympic champion, along with her mom Natalie Hawkins, were the event’s special guests.

The afternoon featured a yummy brunch, silent auction, and showcase of Chicago Girls that Lead Our World, along with an interview with Gabby and her mom.

Pproceeds from the event benefited iGlow (Inspire Girls to Lead Our World), a Chicago mentorship program for young girls.
