Quvenzhan� Wallis: Critics' Choice Awards 2013

Quvenzhan� Wallis is pretty in pink as she attends the 2013 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards held at Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 10) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The nine-year-old actress picked up the Best Young Actor/Actress award for her breakout role in Beasts of the Southern Wild.

The film’s summary: Faced with both her hot-tempered father’s fading health and melting ice-caps that flood her ramshackle bayou community and unleash ancient aurochs, six-year-old Hushpuppy (Wallis) must learn the ways of courage and love.
