Lucy Hale & Darren Criss Chat Hosting the Teen Choice Awards 2013

Lucy Hale and Darren Criss are all ready to host the 2013 Teen Choice Awards this weekend in Los Angeles.

Chatting with On Air with Ryan Seacrest, the two actors opened up about nabbing the job. Lucy shared, “I owe Darren a lot of things because he’s the reason I have the hosting gig because he suggested me.”

Darren added, “They wanted me to have a female counterpart and I thought of Lucy, and I jumped at the chance to have her co-host with me.”

He also chatted about what’s in store for Glee: “[We're] back on set, back to work, business as usual. We had a bit to get through, but now we are at the point where we just really want to just put our game faces back on and make the best thing that we can…I don’t know much about [what's in store for the storyline about Cory Monteith] beyond what’s in the media. I’m just as curious as everybody else. But I’d imagine it’ll be hard for everybody, including the audience. But I think it’s a necessary, nice step for everybody…Absolutely [it will be therapeutic] and I hope by end of it, the light that Cory left behind will be displayed in its best.”
