Taylor Swift Ties Record For Sold Out Shows at Staples Center

Taylor Swift steps out for a press conference at Staples Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday afternoon (August 20).

The 23-year-old musician held a Q&A after a little ceremony with the Recording Academy’s GrammyU students as well as Staples Senior Vice President and General Manager Lee Zeidman and officials from the Messina Group. The students will also get a backstage tour and invited to stay for soundcheck.

On Saturday (August 24), Taylor will tie the record with Latin pop group Mana for the most overall sellouts — 11.
