Tom Daley Declares 'I Am a Gay Man Now'

Tom Daley shares a laugh with his boyfriend Dustin Lance Black while leaving an appearance on Celebrity Juice at Riverside Studios on Tuesday (April 1) in London, England.

The 19-year-old Olympian was a guest panelist on the comedy quiz TV show.

“I am a gay man now,” Tom said during the telecast (via E! News). “I came out on YouTube as I wanted to say what I wanted to say without anyone twisting it. I told my family before I told the world. I was terrified. I did not know what the reaction was going to be. I did it on YouTube because people were constantly digging and asking questions.”

The night before, Tom and Dustin were spotted enjoying a night out together at The Ivy.
