Amy Purdy Gets Ready For Disney Week on DWTS

Amy Purdy is ready for practice as she arrives at the dance studio in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon (April 9) ahead of pro partner Derek Hough.

“Just wrapped our wardrobe meeting for this week! A girls dream come true! #disney #dwts,” the 34-year-old athlete wrote afterwards. Can’t wait to see her costume!

In her LA Times blog, Amy opened up about last week’s switch up where she performed with Mark Ballas.

“They are very, very different, which I noticed the moment Mark and I first began to dance. Derek is a very strong leader and Mark is more relaxed, it made me realize how much I was relying on Derek for stability,” Amy noted.

She added, “Mark and Derek both really push me and that’s what I want. Mark truly is amazing, we had a lot of fun dancing together all week, I truly enjoyed our time together!”
