Paul Wesley Nixed Shirtless Stefan Scene in 'Vampire Diaries' Directorial Debut!

Paul Wesley is broody as ever while stopping by the SiriusXM Studios on Wednesday (April 16) in New York City.

The 31-year-old actor opened up about his Vampire Diaries directorial debut, and how he got rid of a shirtless scene for his character Stefan!

“It was this beautiful scene where Stefan takes Elena, and he picks her up and kisses her, and they go on the kitchen counter and things get kinda hot and heavy,” Paul said during his interview (via EW). “But rather than sexualizing it, I decided to make it romantic. I pitched it to the writers � I was like ‘Guys, I think this should be romantic and not sexual,’ and they fell for it. Suckers!”
