Elle Fanning Gave Princess Aurora Some 'Oomph' in 'Maleficent'

Elle Fanning wears Princess Aurora’s signature color while outside the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City on Thursday afternoon (May 14).

The 16-year-old actress stopped by the Late Show with David Letterman to chat about her new movie, Maleficent.

“I had an amazing dialect coach that was with me and we tried to figure it out…,” Elle shared about finding Aurora’s voice during a recent press conference. “We tried to get the right Princess voice, it couldn’t be too soft and gushy she has to have some oomph!”

Maleficent arrives in theaters on May 30th.
