Faking It's Michael J. Willett Says 'It's Nice to See Different Kind of Gay Characters'

The 24-year-old Faking It star recently opened up about his character on the show.

“In terms of the LGBT community, it’s nice to see different kinds of gay characters, who are dealing with issues beyond being bullied and beyond dealing with the pressures of society,” Michael told Galo Magazine. “I feel like once we move beyond that, we have more stories to tell. There are a lot of stories from the perspective of LGBT people that have not even been told yet. So, I’m hoping this is sort of an outlet for that.”

The season finale of Faking It airs on Tuesday, June 10 @ 10:30PM on MTV!
