Author Gayle Forman Chats Changing The Band Name in Chloe Moretz' Upcoming Movie 'If I Stay'

Chloe Moretz heads out to lunch with almost her entire family in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon (July 11).

The 17-year-old actress, her older brother Trevor and mom Teri grabbed a bite to eat after a workout earlier in the day.

“And yes, #IfIStay’s Shooting Star became #WillametteStone. Legal reasons. Plus, I came to hate the old name. Sounds like a German Hair Band,” author Gayle Forman confessed on Twitter about the books’s band name change in the movie.

She added, “Shooting Star felt fitting for the band they were in IIS. But when they got bigger in WSW ["Where She Went"], the name didn’t feel right.”
