Dakota Fanning Opens About Her Relationship with Sister Elle

Dakota Fanning keeps her shades on at the Farmer’s Market on Sunday afternoon (July 20) in Los Angeles.

The 20-year-old actress sipped on a cool beverage and chatted with a friend.

Recently, Very Good Girls writer-director Naomi Foner interviewed Dakota and asked if having the same career as sister Elle has made them closer.

“Elle and I really don’t talk about acting very much,” Dakota told her in the New York Daily News interview. “I don’t know if that will change as we get older. In terms of understanding what she’s doing with her life, we both have an understanding [of filmmaking] that not many people have. But I don’t think it’s made us closer. Our closeness has come from just being sisters.”
