Charlie White Sends Quick Good Luck Message As Ice Dance Competition Is Underway at US Nationals

Charlie White is sitting out this year’s 2015 Prudential U.S. Figure Skating Championships , but he isn’t missing the competition.

The 27-year-old reigning national champion traded in his skates for a microphone as he commentated for the Ice Network for the week’s event

“Had a wonderful time covering the ice dance event for @icenetwork yesterday! But enjoyed it even more just as a fan! Everyone was great,” Charlie wrote.

He added just a few minutes ago, as the Ice Dance competition is underway, “Hope everyone enjoys the rest of the championships, and best of luck to all of the skaters!”

Madison Chock and Evan Bates and Maia and Alex Shibutani are on deck to skate within the hour. Can’t wait to see who takes the title!
