Kelsea Ballerini Makes Her Grand Ole Opry Debut; Announces 'The First Time' Drop Date

Kelsea Ballerini takes center stage at the Grand Ole Opry over the weekend in Nashville, Tenn.

The 21-year-old singer made her debut on the historic stage and also announced that her new album, The First Time will be out on May 19th!

“I wrote this song a long time ago about learning the lesson that sometimes the past should stay in the past,” she shared. “I never thought I’d be so thankful for that experience and that I’d be playing it at the Grand Ole Opry!”

Kelsea added, “My album The First Time is named after this song and it’s coming out on May 19. I’ve been dying to tell people this!”
