Tyler Posey Opens Up About Support After Mom's Sudden Passing

It’s only been a few months since Tyler Posey‘s mom Cyndi passed away.

Speaking with Cambio, the 23-year-old actor is finally opening up a bit more about the support he’s received from friends, family and fans after uploading a touching video last month.

“I was literally reading some of the comments last night [on the video] and people were really touched by it…and that’s what I wanted,” Tyler shared. “The biggest thing I wanted to convey is that you’re not alone. I’m going through some crazy sh*t and these poor kids that are going through the same thing…I just want them to see they’re not alone. And I want them to gain something from me, because I’m handling it pretty damn well, and I’m not at times, and I’m okay with that.”

He added, “So, I want those kids to see that, take something from it… those comments that they leave are just incredible,” he continued. “They’re telling me about their experiences, how it touched them, how I’m inspiring to them and it’s literally all I could ask for…and my God…I am humbled and I love it.”

Co-star Arden Cho also talked about the cast and how they’re actually a family: “We’re a family. It’s been a tough season for [Tyler]. He’s been through a lot and we all came together the best that we could with phone calls, e-mails, flowers…in a situation like that there’s not that much people can do except for be there and just say hey we’re here.”
