Nick Jonas Teams Up With DexCom to Spread Diabetes Awareness

The 22-year-old “Jealous” singer just teamed up with Dexcom to promote and spread diabetes awareness.

Nick will be sharing his own personal story about living with type 1 diabetes,and his use of Dexcom technology to help him monitor his glucose levels and manage his diabetes while he pursues and lives his dream.

“I was recently on a golf course by myself and this kid and his little brother came up, they were probably 10 and 12,” Nick shared with EW recently. “The kid was freaking out about something, trying to call his parents and I had a gut feeling it had something to do with diabetes.”

He continued, “I asked what was going on, and he said he lost his [diabetes management] supplies. I offered to help, went and got him juice. He didn’t even realize at first that it was me. He went home and told his parents and his mom wrote me a long letter, saying ‘Thank you for helping me.’ It was really nice.”
