Taylor Swift Helps Pay for Sick Fan's Cancer Treatment

Taylor Swift has donated a whopping $50,000 to a young fan battling Leukemia.

The 25-year-old “Bad Blood” singer did so after hearing about a young “Swiftie” named Naomi Oakes, who was sadly diagnosed with Acute Myelogenous Leukemia in late June.

Doctors told her treatment would keep her bed-ridden for up to nine months – meaning she would miss Taylor‘s concert.

Her uncle created a GoFundMe page to help raise money for her medical expenses. The fmaily also posted a video to help nab Taylor‘s attention in hopes she may post an Instagram using the #TeamNaomi hashtag.

Taylor went one step further and donated $50,000 through the page, writing, “To the beautiful and brave Naomi, I’m sorry you have to miss it, but there will always be more concerts. Let’s focus on getting you feeling better. I’m sending the biggest hugs to you and your family.”
