Andy Grammer Sizes Up His 'Dancing With The Stars' Competition: 'I'm Scared Of Nick Carter!'
Andy Grammer and Allison Holker watch playback of their dance during a little break in the studio in Los Angeles.
The 31-year-old singer recently chatted with ABC News about his competition on Dancing With The Stars, where he sought advice and more. Check it:
On having an advantage: “I mean, for me to say right now that I have any sort of advantage is hilarious. It’s really hard to do. Like, I’ve had two rehearsals and it’s really, really hard.”
On his competition: “I guess the one that you think of quick is Nick Carter, ’cause he’s done a lot of dancing, right? But it’s so different than just any sort of like hip-hop dancing or anything like that. But sure, I’m scared of Nick Carter!”
On getting advice from Gavin DeGraw: “I definitely texted [him] and was like, ‘Dude, how did it go? Was it cool, is this a good move?’ and he texted me right back, like, ‘Everybody over there is incredible, they’re super nice, it was a really great experience for me’. So yeah, all I’ve heard is really good things for the show. You know what’s funny, I was talking to one of the dancers, and they were like … they want to make the experience really good for you, so that you go and tell other people that they should be on the show.”
