Lorde Says She Did Not Lip Sync on 'SNL'

Lorde is laughing off reports that she didn’t sing live during her performance on Saturday Night Live the other day.

The 19-year-old singer took to her Twitter account to slam haters who think she was lip-syncing during her “Magnets” performance with Disclosure this past weekend.

“wow – the fact that some people thought i was lip syncing on snl is an awesome compliment! goes without saying i have never/will never haha,” Lorde tweeted on Sunday afternoon.

“we’re just a bunch of kids from far away places and we played on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE! it’s all a bit overwhelming and i’m crazy grateful,” she added.
