Saoirse Ronan & Brie Larson Receive Awards at Palm Springs Gala

Saoirse Ronan and Brie Larson shine on the red carpet at the 2016 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala on Saturday (January 2) in Palm Springs, Calif.

The 21-year-old Brooklyn actress received the International Star Award at the event, presented by Love & Mercy actor Paul Dano. She also presented the Desert Palm Achievement Actress Award to her Hanna co-star Cate Blanchett.

Brie, 26, won the Breakthrough Performance Award for her tole in Room, which was presented by her co-star Jacob Tremblay and the film’s director, Lenny Abrahamson.
