'Girl Meets World' Recap: 'Girl Meets Bay Window' Will Make You Bawl Your Eyes Out

We have a confession — JJJ is still in tears over last night’s Girl Meets World episode!

“A love letter to our characters and to you. I hope you enjoy it. We had fun making it,” the show writers tweeted about the episode, adding, “Every once in a while, it’s time to rearrange our lives.”

“One of the hardest episodes to film emotionally. Please tune in, you won’t regret #GirlMeetsBayWindow,” Sabrina wrote on Twitter just ahead of the episode’s premiere that night.

The writers and she did warn us — it was a tearjerker!

Turns out that the window is actually everything to Maya — it was the first place she came after running away from home as her parents were fighting. Hugs all around for Maya now!

Throughout the episode, we find out just how special the bay window was to all of the four friends, especially Maya and Riley because it’s where their friendship was born.
