Hailee Steinfeld Says New Movie 'Edge of Seventeen' is 'So Honest'

Hailee Steinfeld arrives at CinemaCon on Tuesday (April 12) at The Colosseum of Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

The 19-year-old actress was joined by her 50-year-old co-star Kyra Sedgwick as they discussed their new movie The Edge of Seventeen.

“I remember reading the script and thinking I have never read something so honest and so truthful,” Hailee told USA Today at the event. “I identified with so many moments in this story.”

Hailee and Kyra were joined by stars Matthew McConaughey and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, who were promoting their movie Free State of Jones.
