Gigi Gorgeous Opens Up About Her Transition: 'I Still Feel Insecure At Times'

The 24-year-old transgender model and social star opened up about going through her transition right after her mother passed away.

“My mother passing when I was 19 was the deciding factor to go through with transitioning. I definitely still feel insecure at times even though I am the gender that I’ve always wanted to be,” Gigi shared.

She added, “People ask me how I stay so confident, but things absolutely still get to me. I have days where I don’t want to leave the house. Sharing my transition online and gaining acceptance helped me become more confident. Life is not perfect but I’m working every day to be confident.”

Gigi is also pictured at Markus Klinko‘s Bowie Unseen Exhibition held at Mr. Musichead Gallery on Thursday (May 19) in Los Angeles.
