A major congrats is in order for Liam Payne!

The 22-year-old One Direction alum took to Instagram to announce that he just signed a solo record deal.

“Very happy to have signed to my new record label Capitol Records,” Liam captioned a photo, which you can see below. “They have such an amazing history of artists, I hope I can follow in the footsteps. One direction will always be my home and family but I’m very excited to see what this chapter brings.”
