Daya hits the stage for an intimate performance while kicking off the People Now Concert Series on Thursday (July 21) in New York City.
The 17-year-old “Sit Still Look Pretty” singer spoke with People ahead of her performance and meet and greet with fans about using a stage name, versus her real name, Grace.

“I don’t think of it as two different personalities entirely,” she shared. “But I do think that Daya is an exaggerated version of myself, so on stage, I’m more animated.”
